PLACES OF INTEREST
There is always plenty to do and see it this beautiful region. There is the stunning castle which dates back to the 12th to 15th century and is open all year round.
Carennac is described as “one of the most beautiful villages” and is only a 5 minute drive, it hosts many ruins and spectacular buildings, with plenty of cafes to enjoy the atmosphere.
Rocamadour is the second most visited site in France, built up the rock face; it is one of the most spectacular sites.
For cities, you have Brive and Cahors both offering a wide range of interest for tourists.
EVERYDAY
For everyday needs Bretenoux is only 10 minutes drive and St Cere around 15 minutes, both holding regular markets.
Both have supermarkets. Again,
both are well worth visiting with beautiful buildings and plenty of history.
ACTIVITIES
There are many activities in the local area.
There are swimming pools, canoeing, fishing, and endless mountain walks. There are also caves and vineyards to be explored.
There are countless restaurants and cafes within 15km radius, which we also look forward to sampling!
